Crossroads Medical
Where reflection becomes a path forward
How we work
Continuity as clinical strategy
At Crossroads Medical, you see the same clinician at every appointment, by design. That consistency is not a courtesy; it is the foundation on which accurate assessment and responsive treatment are built over time.
Time enough to actually listen
Appointments here are scheduled with room to breathe. The schedule reflects what the work actually requires.
Evidence at the center
Treatment selections at this practice are anchored in the peer-reviewed literature, not in institutional habit or convenience. When we recommend a therapeutic modality or a medication pathway, the reasoning is articulable and yours to understand.
Psychiatry and therapy in genuine conversation
When a patient is receiving both psychiatric care and psychotherapy here, those clinicians communicate. The integration is deliberate, not assumed, so that a medication adjustment and a shift in therapeutic focus can be understood in relation to each other.
What we hold ourselves to
- Diagnosis in service of the person, not the other way around. a diagnostic formulation is a working hypothesis that should sharpen understanding, not reduce someone to a code.
- Candor over comfort. we will tell you what the evidence supports and where uncertainty remains, because honesty is more useful than reassurance.
- Unhurried attention as a clinical value. the quality of listening is not separable from the quality of care, and we structure our practice accordingly.
- Relational continuity, defended deliberately. we do not rotate patients between clinicians for administrative convenience; the relationship you build here is protected.
- Rigor without rigidity. evidence-based practice means following the evidence where it goes, including when it suggests revising a treatment plan rather than persisting with it.
- Respect for the complexity of adult life. career, partnership, grief, illness, identity, and history arrive together in any clinical encounter, and we are trained to hold that complexity without flattening it.
- Transparency in every transaction. from the first phone call to the billing statement, you should know exactly what is happening and why.
Our story
Some moments in a person's life arrive quietly, and some arrive all at once. Crossroads Medical was built on the conviction that both deserve the same quality of attention: unhurried, rigorous, and genuinely human.
The practice grew from a shared frustration with outpatient care that felt transactional rather than clinical, where appointments were brief and continuity was incidental. The founding view was straightforward: behavioral health works when the therapeutic relationship is treated as the mechanism of care, not merely its delivery vehicle.
Our clinical team
The Crossroads Medical clinical team is composed of board-certified psychiatrists and fully licensed psychotherapists whose credentials are not treated as a floor but as a starting point for ongoing clinical development. The practice places weight on depth of training in specific therapeutic modalities, and on the judgment that accumulates only through careful practice over years. What credentials cannot capture, temperament and attentiveness can, and we look for both.
